Welcome wrestling fans to the Kent State University Wrestling camp page. We are proud to say that this is our fifth straight year of holding summer camps. Last season we had nearly 250 campers for our Team Camp and our Competition/Technique Camp. We are again offering those two camps along with a the Intensive Camp and Biddy Camp. All of these camps will be supervised by the Kent State Wrestling Coaching Staff and Wrestlers.
At Kent State University we take pride in helping campers reach their goals of becoming the best wrestler and person they can be. All camps are designed to focus on techniques that we feel will help the campers at the high school level. The Sessions will be broken down to include instruction, drilling, and live competition. We feel a good mix of the three will keep the campers focused and excited to learn new techniques by drilling it, then getting a chance to try it when they wrestle live. Campers will always be separated into groups according to age, weight, and experience level to ensure the most improvement, challenge, and fun during the camp.
Along with the Kent State Coaching staff of Jim Andrassy, Josh Moore, Drew Lashaway, and Andrew Wolf, we have also hired some of Ohio's greats to teach and instruct the sessions. We look forward to seeing you at our camps this summer and on the podium next spring!
Sincerely,
Kent State Coaching Staff
